Passion Run - Race Bib no. 8949

Bao Li, Larry and I had our first fun run together on Sunday at the East Coast Park. For me this was my fourth run (5km). I kept a collection of all the race bibs and stuck them onto my fridge. Whenever I step into the kitchen I feel proud to see my achievements!

I finished the race with a timing of 41 minutes. Bao Li finished the race 10 minutes ahead of old Auntie Mabel. I can see that Bao Li has the potential to be a runner. She is 13 years old, lightweight and has lots of stamina. She is suddenly so keen on running and kept asking me to register her for more runs. Well, for me I am happy to have found a running companion.

Sunday was also the first time that we saw SM Goh in person. He was there to officiate the race.

After Bao Li and I finished the race, we waited for about an hour for Larry. He didn't show up. We wondered why he took so long! We were worried that he might have fainted or collapsed. He didn't have a mobile phone on him and we couldn't contact him. However, we finally found him waiting at the wrong place. After that, we had brunch at the foodcourt, and the kids went rollerblading for a while before we proceeded home.
