CNY 2010

Time really flies! Before you know it, the Chinese New Year is here. I wasn't in the mood for any celebrations because I was too stressed up about my upcoming exams. Amanda wasn't in the mood either because she has her exams too!

Initially, Alvin had wanted take a short holiday break out of Singapore. I told him that he could go with Matt but Amanda and I are staying here because we have to study for our exams. Well, it makes me wonder if the people who planned the exams dates were Chinese or non-Chinese. They could have been more sympathetic and take into account the Chinese New Year, a major festival celebrated by the Chinese families!

In any case, we did our CNY routine visitations on the first two days, Mon, 15 and Tue, 16 Feb. Then, it's back to work for me on the following day. As my boss had just returned from a gall bladder op I had to brief her and keep her updated on work. After that, I took annual leave, study/exam leaves from Thu, 18 Feb right through to the month end. The last semester exams were the toughest. There were 3 papers ie. Computer System Applications on 22/2/10, Managing People on 24/2/10 and Law of Tort on 26/2/10.
